Jay started his music career by just knocking at the studio door of one of the most successful production companies in Berlin, Triple M Music. The result was a very successful seven year working relationship with producers Mike Michaels and Mark Dollar. Jay was almost in the studio everyday, recording and writing songs as well composing new ideas. His biggest success so far was with the song „Schick mir ´nen Engel“ of the Popstras winning band Overground, which sold over 250,000 units and was No. 1 in the Mediacontrol-Single Charts.
Jay is very professional. He knows what he wants and gives 100 percent. At the moment the most important thing for him is to be on stage performing with his friends and band members of US5.
Jay was born in London, but later moved with his parents to Berlin. He’s fluent in German, English and French. Before Jay moved in with Chris, Michael, Richie and Izzy, he lived together with his father. Jay has to little sisters, the twins Kamran and Yasmin. They are both very proud of their big brother and him being a successful singer in a band. They are the “biggest” fans of US5.
