This is an Interview with US 5 that school girls asked them when they performed at Holly Lodge Girls' College in Liverpool How did US 5 get together? We were put together on the reality TV programme ‘Big in America’ and we are now managed by Lou Pearlman who previously managed the Backstreet Boys and N-Sync. Can you tell us about your tour? We are touring the uk and visiting 2-3 schools a day for the next 4 weeks. We started off in Glasgow and are working our way down to the South. How old are you all and where are you from? Jay 24 from London, Chris 17 from Florida, Richie 17 from Chicago, Izzy 22 from California and Michael 18 from Orlando. Tell us about your new single? We will be releasing our new single ‘Maria’ on the 25th of September. The girls here looked like they enjoyed it! We will also be on a programme on MTV in August called ‘Big In America’. What uk band would you compare yourself to? We try to do a mixture of all types of music, but we wouldn’t say that we are like any uk band as we are unique and have our own style.
