Nearly US5 leaves a half year and keep there fans fidget. Only on 20 October there is again a new single of Richie, Chris, Izzy, Mikel and Jay. Then they publish the fire-new Song “in The club”! But for Yam! Radio listener has a waiting already an end! Starting from 27 September, Yam plays 0 o'clock! Radio the new US5-Single “in The club” - and that whole Wednesday long each hour once! But afterwards is still for a long time not conclusion. “In The club” goes then immediately on Hot rotation. To the new US5-Single is there naturally also a video. That is still more official this mark than for example with “Just Because OF You”. Richie and CO flew specially to Hollywood, in order to turn there with star director Michael Kahn, which already turned slowly 3 direction for Christina Aguilera and with motion picture films as "dies led", the tie-clip. Also the choreography is still more sophisticated this mark. Flii Stylz which already Beyoncй, is responsible for, which Black Eyed Peas, Usher trained and many more. For properly Action is thus ensured! There are the best pictures of the clip and naturally also all information starting from Wednesday, 27 September in the new Yam! - thus nothing like off to the kiosk!

If you want the skinny on streaking, you need to ask a boyband. FACT. We got US5 to oblige us... TOTP: Which international event would you most like to streak at? Jay: The Grammys! Izzy: Wrestlemania. Michael: Music awards. Richie: Yeah, yeah, the Music awards, I'd say. Jay: No, the Oscars. TOTP: What personal message would you write on your body, and where would you write it? Izzy: I'd write 'our album comes out on September 25th - buy it! And the single!' Richie: 'Exit only' over my ass? Jay: 'Take a peek'. I can't tell you where I'd write it. Michael: Something about staring. Like, 'don't stare at me, talk to me'. Chris: 'This is just what you see in the mirror every day'. The others: Awww! Richie: That's clever! Clever. TOTP: Would you have any kind of accessories to wear while you were streaking? A cape, or a mask, perhaps? Izzy: A cape? I dunno. I'd wear a championship belt around my waist. Richie: Oh yeah you would! Chris: I'd probably wear a mask so nobody could recognise me. Richie: I definitely wouldn't be wearing my normal rosary. I know that much. Jay: I'd probably have a piece of cloth just covering a certain part with a big Superman logo on it. Michael: Uh...jeans. TOTP: When it comes to the actual event, would you do it on your own, or would you need people there with you? Richie: I might need a team with me. Jay: We'd only do it as a group. Michael: Hey, I have a deja vu! Richie: Really? Of being naked? Michael: No, I'm serious. I'm just trying to say that he's going to say that...nah. Jay: That's spooky. Yeah, no, we'd only do it as a group. TOTP: Who would you be most concerned about seeing you naked? Chris: Probably my mom. Richie: Yeah, my mom. Michael: My mom! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Jay: That's the second deja vu. Probably my mum too, I'd say. Izzy: Nobody for me. No, I wouldn't care. Jay: I wouldn't want my mum to see me streak. TOTP: Turning that on its head, is there anyone you'd be quite happy to catch you streaking? Chris: Maybe there's a female celebrity or something walking by? I dunno. Definitely not my teacher. Richie: Paris Hilton, so she'd be like, "that's NOT hot". Jay: Eva Longoria or Sienna Miller. Michael: Salma Hayek. Izzy: Yeah, any pretty girl. TOTP: What about in preparation for the event - do you make any changes to your routine? Dieting, exercise, cut your hair, maybe some waxing...? Richie: Go on a diet! Chris: For sure. Just make sure it's not a cold day, that's the only preparation I'd have! Richie: I'd prepare my 'bits' (we changed this bit - bashful Ed). Richie: I'd just make sure everything was in place, looking right... Izzy: Would you use glue? Richie: No, I wouldn't use glue... Jay: I'd shave and go tanning. Richie: Are you embarrassed, Izzy? Izzy: Yeah, you guys are getting pretty vulgar. I wouldn't even go that far. TOTP: ...OK. Would you be willing to hurdle anything while naked? Izzy: A barbed-wire fence. Chris: I'd hurdle over a crowd of people. Richie: Haha! "Watch out, Richie's coming through!" Jay: I don't really know. TOTP: You could do another party piece if you preferred - perhaps a forward roll or some gymnastics? Izzy: I'd do a backflip, a bunch of backflips. Richie: I'd be doing some somersaults, maybe. Chris: I can do the chicken dance. Jay: I'd be doing the choreography to our new single 'Maria'. TOTP: Plug plug! Would you be worried about doing yourself an injustice if it was cold? Izzy: If it was cold? Wear socks and gloves. Chris: I'd definitely cover my nipples. Jay: I'd cover my throat - that's the most delicate. The chest/throat area, and then I'd be fine. TOTP: Do you have any tactics for avoiding the police when they eventually turn up? Chris: Run right into the crowd. Just run right into that heavy crowd area! Hide out there. Michael: Just give them some money. Izzy: Start peeing when they run at you, so that way they won't wanna touch you! Richie: There you go! TOTP: What position would you most like to be carried off in? You could have one person taking each of your limbs, or a fireman's lift... Richie: Wait, while you're still naked? TOTP: Yes. They may possibly have thrown a blanket over you by this point. Chris: They could grab me by the ear. He always does that to me. Jay: I'd like to be carried away, pulled away by a whole anti-terror squad. Me in my Superman...gear. Izzy: I'd wanna be tranquillised and dragged away. Put in a straitjacket! Richie: By all my limbs? Michael: What? What? What? Richie: How to get carried away. Michael: Yeah, yeah. I don't know. Richie: That's hard. Jay: That's a tough question.

Boy bands are back! Say hi to Us5. They’re the latest pop sensation to hit Britain, and not only can they belt out a tune really well, but they can also show you a few dance moves and look fabulous whilst they're doing it. The melodic ensemble consists of five members Michael, Izzy, Chris, Jay and Richie and they’re managed by the music mogul Lou Pearlman who’s been responsible for some of the most fabulous international sounds of the last ten years. Pearlman in fact describes the fivesome himself as “the ultimate boy band.” The band’s debut single over here is being released this week, entitled “Maria.” It’s already been number one in Europe, where the lads have sold out 30,000 seater stadiums in Germany and other urban hot spots. Maria was also in the Top 10 in the Billboard single charts and fans all over the world have snapped up the track, with almost 1 million copies being sold so far. The boys have currently been touring the length and breadth of the country to promote their brand new material and have sent quite a few ladies swooning at their live performances and personal appearances. ** Article Continues Below ** ** The Us5 article continues now ** FemaleFirst were able to have a chat with the gorgeous quintet before they left to prepare for another gig in Wolverhampton You are presently touring all around the UK. How’s that been for you so far? Jay- Yeah, it’s been real good. We’ve been touring across England, Scotland and Wales since June, including appearing in under 18 clubs and festivals. We’ve had a good response here. Your band was formed through a hit reality TV programme, wasn’t it? Jay -Yeah – it’s called “Big in America.” The first season is on TMF at the moment for everybody in the UK. It’s already been shown in America and Europe. It shows how we got together in the beginning and how far we’ve come. Nobody knew each other and at first there were four firm members of the band with four other people fighting it out to get a place in it! What do you like to do when you get some time off to chill out? Michael -We don’t have much time off but when we do get a whole day off or a coupe of hours we do like to split up and do other things like napping and catching up with some sleep, going to see a movie or shopping. You’ve done a music video for your latest single Maria. How did the filming of that go? Jay - It was great. We shot it in Florida and it was our first ever video. It was a big production and we all have our own individual “Marias’” appearing in it, which was fantastic. What advice would you like to give to an aspiring singer? Izzy - No matter what, pursue your dream. But you have to be dedicated. What’s the best thing about being in a signed band? Chris - Being signed (Laughs) Jay - I’d say being together with each other, and living together, and knowing that when you’re walking on stage, your friends are waiting for you. We are living the dream. Michael - Getting to see the world as well. What’s the most interesting thing that you’ve been asked to autograph by a fan? Richie - Oh, I don’t know if we can tell you that Jay - A foot Izzy -A shoe Chris - A cheek (Everybody Laughs) What’s been your favourite live performance to date? Jay – In the UK, when we recently sang on the Sharon Osbourne show. We were so happy to be doing that – It was a real honour. Richie - She’s a really lovely lady and she looks amazing for her age. Izzy – Yeah we love her What’s the first record that you ever bought? Chris – I used to buy tapes …(Laughs) Michael – Bad by Michael Jackson C – Enya, I think That's pretty wide-ranging stuff from Michael Jackson to Enya….. Jay – Yeah, but that’s what’s so great about our band. All of us are so different, with different personalities and we bring that to the group – we’re just one big melting point! Do you have a way of preparing yourself before going on stage? Any rituals, anything you do to psyc yourself up for a live performance? Jay - Normally we have a group prayer led by Izzy along with the crew to keep our spirits up before we go on stage. What’s it like working with Lou Pearlman, the man behind such sensational bands as the Backstreet Boys, Nsync, LFO and O-Town? Jay - It’s a real privilege and an honour to be working with Lou. He’s worked with a lot of boy bands and had a hand in Britney Spears. Some people think we should feel pressurised being in boy band but it’s great. Lou comes out to all the countries with us when we travel. He’s more like a friend than a manager. Who would you like to collaborate with if the opportunity was given to you? All the boys shout out – Mr Justin Timberlake, Prince, Linkin Park, Usher Richie – Kelis. I just love Kelis – I want to do something with her… Chris - Milli Vanilli (Laughs) Can you describe your album to me in your own words? Jay -We’re very proud of it. But especially for the UK there’s going to a mix of our album “Here we go” and other new material. It’s got R & B in it and pop. It’s very fresh sounding and it also has some great ballads on it. We’re known for our ballads. What’s next for you all? Chris -World domination (Laughs). Richie -To keep making music. Jay -We’re hoping our single does well over here in the UK. We’d love that. For more information about US5 go to www.us5com.co.uk The group’s latest smash hit single “Maria” hits the stores here on 25th September, through Trans Continental Records. Big In America will be broadcasted every Friday evening from 6.30 pm til 7.00 pm on MTV TMF. IT shows a personal diary of the us5’s journey around the globe, especially their adventures through places in Britain, and reveals the busy lives of the five boys, as they get ready for the release of the debut UK single.

What's Up With US5? We talk to Michael, Jay, Chris, Izzy and Richie about making it Big In America and why they look set to become massive in the UK. It's time to meet US5... We’ve been hearing nice things about you guys in the UK, so it’s nice to finally chat to you! How are you handling the success you’ve had so far in America and Europe? It’s been an awesome ride and we really want to make it in the UK now!! So how did you guys get together to form US5? Through our TV show, Big in America (every Friday @ 6.30pm on TMF). Your manager is Lou Pearlman, who previously managed the Backstreet Boys and NSync. Do you admire these bands and/or like the music that they made? We totally admire them. Izzy’s a big Backstreet Boys fan. The pop scene in the UK is in need of a good boy band now that the Take That reunion tour has finished. Tell us why US5 is different to any other boyband out there… We’re taking boyband to it’s glory days. Our show is very energetic and we have our own sound. Jay (right) is from the UK and the others from the US – best of both. Your debut single Maria scored a number one hit in Europe and made the top five of the Billboard charts in America. Were you surprised by this instant success? Very surprised, we never expected that kind of reaction! So how would you describe the US5 sound? New, fresh, cool, positive… It must be great getting to see the world while you’re on tour. What country has the hottest girls? That’s a tough one but the UK girls are totally up there on the list!! If one of our Kylie Klub members wanted to win your hearts, what should she do to get a date? Ask us, we’re all in need of a date! Which member is considered the heartthrob of the group? US5 has five heartthrobs but Richie (right) probably gets most of the fan mail. And who’s the funniest? Richie he’s such a laugh!! You look set to become the pop idols of a generation, but who were your pop idols when you were growing up? Jay: George Michael, Take That, Prince Chris: Michael Jackson Izzy: Robbie Williams, Backstreet Boys Michael: Usher, Mario Richie: Justin Timberlake, Blue What do you think of British and Irish boybands from the past few years like Blue, Westlife and Take That? Take That are probably the best boyband to this day. Blue had great music and a very distinct sound. Are there any current musicians that you would like to work with? Missy Elliot, Neptunes, Guy Chambers (formerly Robbie Williams' songwriter). So what’s next for US5? A whole lot of work and touring in the UK.

Times Online September 22, 2006 US5: THE INSIDE STORY Funday catches up with Jay from new boyband Us5 for the inside story Us5 are (from left) Jay, Michael, Chris, Izzy, Richie Funday: What was it like suddenly being in a house, on TV, with four strangers? Jay: It was crazy but fun. None of us knew each other but because the formation of the band was done as a TV show, which was first shown in Germany, we had to get along. We were living together, learning strenuous dance routines, having vocal coaching, making an album and shooting a TV show. Funday: Are you all friends now? Jay: We're more like brothers than mates. Brothers argue and so do we, but just like in a family we make up and we're always there for each other. Funday: Why have you waited for nearly two years to release a record in the UK? Jay: We've already had hits in Europe, but the UK is a tougher market. We wanted to be as good as we could be before launching over here. We've had hit records, we've done arena tours, so now we're ready to take on the UK. Funday: Is it weird in the UK where people don't recognise you? Jay: I enjoy that. In Germany, we can't walk down the street without being mobbed by fans, at least not without wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. It's the same in Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Russia. Funday: You've done school tours over here. What was the reaction like? Jay: We were scared because nobody knew us or our music. Kids can be very honest if they don't like you, but the reaction was amazing and some girls were even in tears.

iloverichie- 10-02-2006

US5 created it in the first week with “Maria” up to place 38 of the British single Charts. Whether they reach the top of the charts will be shown.

iloverichie- 10-02-2006

Us 5 So Us 5 think Girl Guides are fit. Is the feeling mutual girls? What are you up to at the moment? We’re busy recording our TV show and promoting our single. What has been the highlight of your career so far? Receiving a gold disc for ‘Maria’ in front of 30,000 people on tour – it was amazing. What are you listening to on your MP3 player right now? Justin Timberlake’s new album and Imogen Heap. If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be and why? A bird, coz you’re totally free and we could fly. What do you do when you want to treat yourself? Shopping. What’s your most horrible habit? Biting my nails. Which pop star or actor did you have a crush on as a kid? Michelle Pfeffer in Batman. What cause do you feel passionately about? Any cause concerning children in need. How would you describe Girl Guides? Very fit. Are you looking forward to performing at the BIG GIG? We can’t wait - we are so excited for a chance to perform in the UK. On a more serious note About 475,000 girls choose to join us as a girls-only organisation – why do you think that might be? I‘m sure they love the idea of being part of something with only girls involved. Bullying, drinking, knives – it seems as if young people are always in the press for the wrong reasons. Do you think this is unfair? If so, how can we set the story straight? Upbringing and education is everything
